We are a growing Design Build company based in Conifer, CO that offers flexibility, opportunity, and independence. The Company: Blue Leaf Design Build, Inc. an established General Contractor/Design Build Company, is looking for a hardworking individual to preform general and specialized labor duties at our residential sites. We specialize in high end home additions, remodel and design, custom millwork, and furniture. Candidates must be motivated to learn new skills. Position is an immediate hire for the right individual. Opportunities for permanent employment, growth and advancement are available. Special consideration will be given to candidates who are insured, experienced, and able to provide 20-40 hours/week. Who Should Apply: -A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply -Someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education and wanting to grow their skills and abilities -Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED or college diploma Requirements and Skills: -Valid driver’s license and dependable registered and insured transportation (Bring driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance) -Basic Tools -General construction knowledge -Physical strength and stamina when performing heavy labor that is required from construction workers such as lifting materials and long hours of performing strenuous work during the day in hot or cold weather -Mechanical skills to use heavy machinery and equipment -Basic math skills and calculations while measuring on job sites -Good problem-solving skills (ability to be proactive and trouble shoot) -Respectful and reliable -Must demonstrate good communication, interaction, and collaboration skills -Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders on projects and tasks with minimal supervision -Ability to meticulously follow a plan to its completion -Strong work ethic, attention to detail and awareness of their surroundings that they use to finish projects according to health and safety standards and limit risk with tools, materials, and equipment -Must possess and demonstrate proficiency in the above responsibilities. Experience: General labor and construction: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Multiple residential locations in the West Denver Metro, Boulder Metro, and Foothills Areas. Schedule: -Flexible -Monday to Friday -Weekends available at times -Day 8-10 hour shifts Job Duties: May include but not limited to: -Assist in initial setup and cleanup of job sites which would include lifting, carrying, and pulling items 50+lbs in weight -Demolition and/or cleanup -Hauling and/or debris removal -Excavation by hand -Concrete work -Framing -Minor plumbing and/or electric -Drywall -Installation of cabinets and/or vanities -Tile installation -Installing flooring (carpet, tile, hardwood) -Painting -Installation of kitchen appliances -Landscaping -Disposal of unsafe materials and organize and secure the in-progress portions of a project to easily resume work. -Other duties as assigned
