Come out and enjoy the crisp autumn weather and take in the fall colors at beautiful Central Park in Grayslake. Save-A-Pet, a true no-kill animal rescue and adoption center, is hosting a Fall Fun Walk on Saturday, October 16 beginning at 9:00am. The leisurely one-mile family fun walk will take place at Central Park (in front of the Aquatic Center), 250 Library Lane in Grayslake.
Goody bag pick-up begins at 8:30 and the walk will start at 9:00am. Following the walk there will be games and activities for dogs. Prizes will be awarded to dogs who can sniff out treats or lick peanut butter off a spoon the fastest.
Individuals, families and groups are encouraged to participate and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times.
Registration is $20.00 per person and children 12 and under are free. Water, juice and packaged treats are provided at no charge. The first 100 paid participants will receive a goody bag containing some awesome items. Pre-walk registration is encouraged.

The event is hosted by Save-A-Pet and sponsored by Bark ānā Town Pet Resort and Day Spa, Ingleside; the Grayslake Park District; Cabay & Co., McHenry; 4Imprint; and Pet Supplies Plus, Wauconda. All proceeds from the Fall Fun Walk directly benefit the animals rescued by Save-A-Pet.
