UA Offers Tutwiler Hall Keepsakes To Raise Money For Scholarships

TUSCALOOSA, AL — As it moves to a new facility, The University of Alabama if offering a way to recognize the thousands of students who have passed through Julia Tutwiler Hall since 1960. The revenue generated will go toward benefit future housing scholarships at UA. The University of Alabama says those interested can pay for the following mementos ... A custom paver at the new Tutwiler Hall ($250) A commemorative brick for the former Tutwiler Hall structure, with an engraved plaque ($100) A plaque with a room number ($50) Click here to purchase one of the keepsakes. UA says the new facility, slated for completion in August 2022, will be located southwest of the current Tutwiler Hall. The New Tutwiler Residence Hall will accommodate over 1,200 freshmen female students with two-person rooms that includes private bathrooms, lounges, and community/traditional-style residence hall spaces.
