Cleaning Technician – Part Time Position (Anchorage) $500 SIGN ON BONUS!!! Alaskan family-owned Construction/Restoration Company serving the community for 49 years, is currently seeking Anchorage based part-time Cleaning Technician. What we do We are a construction/restoration company that restores homes & commercial properties after disasters such as fire, wind, earthquake and water and mold damage. We also do home improvement, residential and commercial remodels, additions and many other services. We occasionally work in rural locations in Alaska as needed. We offer emergency services 24 hours per day. Our employees work on a rotation schedule for after hours. Duties Cleaning Technicians are responsible for inventory, packing and cleaning of furniture, appliances and other contents of homes & businesses after disasters such as fire and water damage so that our construction crew can repair damages to the property. Our cleaning technicians also perform structural cleaning and detail cleaning of the job sites. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements • Must reside in Anchorage due to on-call rotation. • IICRC certification preferred, but not required. • Must be hardworking, honest, dependable and neat in appearance. • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and lead technicians. • Ability to work well as a team as well as independently. • Must be safety focused. We provide all safety gear and all employees are required to use it. • Current driver license with no more than 3 driving infractions in the last 3 years. • Willingness to cross-train with the water emergency team. They respond to water damages quickly to mitigate further damage. • Participation in the on-call rotation. Overtime may be required at times for this position, but is not guaranteed. • Reliable, insured transportation at your disposal. Due to the on-call rotation, public transportation will not suffice. You may be called out in the middle of the night. We must respond quickly in an emergency. • Ability to lift and move 75+ pounds, multiple times per day. We pack out and pack back homes after disasters including furniture and appliances) • Must pass post-offer drug screen (heroin, amphetamines, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine) • Must pass post-offer background screening. Due to insurance contract requirements, candidates with felony convictions will not be considered. Any other convictions will need to be discussed with Human Resource Director for contract compliance.
