Two weeks ago, I put an ad on Craigslist looking for a local musician to help me teach guitar to a group of teenagers at a local family shelter that I work at. Within a few hours, an extremely generous, passionate guitarist from a fun and upcoming band offered to help and will be on board with us soon. Last week, I asked if anyone had an extra guitar that we could have for the music lessons. Within a day, I had a guitar from a person who could not have been more kind. I cannot thank the local music community enough for their generosity. Makes me really proud to live in such a beautiful city.
