Second Shift Hours: 1PM - 9:30P OR 2PM - 10:30PM
INVENTORY CONTROL
Responsibilities:
• Equipment data input (stock), and communicate with assigned team members on related equipment identification techniques
• Perform daily cycle counting
• Produce various analytical reports to help improve overall Distribution Center product quantity along with reducing inventory shrinkage
Qualifications:
• Moderate proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
• Proficiency in Great Plains is a plus
• Background in auditing and inventory control is required
• Basic understanding of accounting, receiving, and purchasing required
SHIPPING
Responsibilities:
• Compare information of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify with documentation
• Determine method of shipment. Communicate with transportation company to negotiate shipping costs
• Affix shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons
• Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers
• Insert items into containers
• Bind containers with tape, metal straps or plastic wrap
• Stamp, stencil, or glue identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers
• Post weights and shipping charges, and affix postage
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Operate tier lift truck or uses hand truck
Qualifications:
• Ability to operate forklift
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
• Must have the ability to use and understand shipping and receiving computer software
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
