Operations Assistant - NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS. Looking for someone to assist owner at Gartland Distributors as a general worker, assisting in daily operations as needed. We are a small, locally owned snack food distributor headquartered in Biddeford, ME. Check us out at GartlandDistributors.com! Responsibilities may include: * general warehouse work, receiving shipments, answering phone, etc. * loading and unloading box trucks * accompanying account managers/owners on delivery routes * driving box truck to specific locations to make deliveries or pick up product (as far away as Bangor) * running errands and completing tasks for owner In order to qualify for this position you must: * have clean driving record * have neat, clean appearance * be able to jump in and out of box trucks multiple times a day * be able to repeatedly lift up to 25 lbs., bending and twisting * be flexible with hours and assignments * be fully vaccinated for COVID 19 or willing to become so within 4 weeks of hire. This position is part time - approximately 15-20 hours a week, 2-3 days a week. Tentative needs at this time are: Monday 6a-11a, Wednesday 8a- 12p, Thursday 6a-1p. This schedule is likely to change and increase as time progresses - It is currently a temporary position, expected to last about 6 months - with the possibility that it could develop into more hours and/or a permanent position.
