Description

The Mechanic position is responsible for making safe and timely repairs and maintenance to insure functional operation of necessary equipment. This position will diagnose most problems on all automotive, industrial, and ag equipment and ensuring the equipment is functioning at maximum efficiency. • Must have 3-5 years demonstrated mechanical experience. • Ability to operate equipment. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to effectively communicate with peers and supervisors (verbal and written). • Proactive attitude with attention to detail and power of observation. • Ability to work as part of a team to maximize efficient utilization of key resources—people, equipment, etc. • Possesses a valid GA driver’s license, First Aid and CPR card. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is • Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and/or risk of electrical shock; • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals; and • Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions; The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
