Alpenrose Dairy, a 100 year old iconic Portland brand, is looking for a Case Dock Worker for our pre-production team. This role is responsible for unloading milk cases from delivery trucks and trailers and operating the milk case washer as well as filling other roles as needed in supporting our fluid milk production operation. Are goal is to promote employees whenever possible and we promote from this postion often. this is a 2nd shift positons starting at 3:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday ( 4/10's). Daily responsibilities include: Unloading milk cases from trucks and trailers Sorting, stacking and washing cases Periodically, loading trailers with cases for delivery Washing case washer, cleaning drains, screens and filters Other duties as assigned. Qualifications to be successful: Must be able to lift and push/pull 50 lbs consistently and work on your feet 8 to 10 hours a day. Safety minded. Like to work indepently & have great organizational skills. Ability to read, write and speak English. Work cooperatively with all coworkers & guests Must be able to maintain a fast, physical pace.
