No experience necessary! Downtown jeweler seeking someone to work as a polisher while learning the jewelry business. To be successful the candidate should be: Mechanically inclined Honest Dependable A good memory and a steady hand is very helpful, but a strong commitment and a desire to learn is really important. Any knowledge of jewelry/metals/stones is helpful. At this position you will apply the finishing touches to jewelry made and repaired by experienced jewelers. You will learn about metals, stones, and different styles of jewelry, and you will gain a deep knowledge and understanding of a centuries old art. This would be a good job for someone who has worked in construction trades, auto mechanics, electronics, or ideally someone with previous experience in the jewelry business.
