I'm so sorry to write this but if you own a beautiful female, large brown dog with a black muzzle she is dead and lying in a ditch on Highway 214. She looks to be young. As you are heading towards Mt. Angel from Woodburn she is on the right side of the road just before McKee School Rd. She is almost directly across the road from a large white house that will be on your left. There is actually a big yellow gate near that house on the same side of the road that she is exactly straight across from. I parked on McKee School Rd. and walked down the field a little bit and took a look at her. I have pictures of her. My camera is messed up on my phone and isn't focussing very well but if she is yours or you know her you can still identify her from the pics. If you think that she may be your dog reply to this listing and I'll share a picture. You can see where she was hit in the side. She is lying on her back in the ditch. As of last evening, Tues. 9-21-21 she wasn't smelling yet, so I am guessing that she had only been dead for about 24 hours or less when I looked at her. However, she is starting to bloat and the flies are swarming. I saw her yesterday (Tuesday) on my way from Woodburn heading towards Mt. Angel. At first, I thought she was a deer (about the same color) and then realized it was a big dog. Hopefully, someone loved her and is looking for her. She looks to be well cared for. No collar or tags. She was a beautiful girl. R.I.P. baby 😢
