We are looking for a Sander/General Laborer to support our growth as a furniture design company. We are looking for someone to assist in sanding, assembly, and finishing work. One of the most important sander/woodworker/general laborer responsibilities is to sand furniture pieces, such as wood frames and sample pieces. You will also be handling power tools and materials (such as saws and drills). We would like you to have prior manufacturing experience, as well as the ability to lift heavy loads. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules. If you fit this description, and you’re also interested in doing tough but important work, we’d like to meet you! Requirements Sanding experience in wood work a plus! Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 60 pounds, etc.) Good hand-eye coordination Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus Experience with finishing wood with oil and such is a plus Communication and teamwork skills Spanish and English skills Commitment to safety rules Specialization is an asset!!
