Hiring carpenters, framers, and laborers (skilled and unskilled) that are self-starters with attention to detail. Applicants must be experienced or willing to learn. Most work involves building the support frames (girders and joists) between piles that have already been driven into the water near the shoreline, and then decking over the framing. This job is physically demanding, and requires working outside, over water, and sometimes, in inclement weather. All applicants must have a reliable work ethic and the ability to arrive at the job-site on-time, as directed, and ready to work a 40-hour week. Most days will start about 7:30 AM and end about 4:30 PM. Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Use hand tools, power tools, and operate heavy equipment for long periods • Repeatedly crouch, climb, kneel, lift, and stand for long periods of time • Working at heights, ladders, and scaffolding • Working in and over water • Work 8 or more hours a day, with a one-hour lunch break • Ability to read and interpret plans • Ability to communicate in English • Positive attitude and work well in a team environment • Follow your supervisor’s directions, and finish tasks on-time, correctly the first time • Comply with all health and safety regulations • Comply with all Covid-19 guidelines (different jobs have different guidelines based on customer) • Provide health compliance, vaccination card, etc. • Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition Benefits • Right away: Earn Bonuses and Pay Raises based on performance.
