The Janitorial/Housekeeping candidate is responsible for the daily cleaning of a 4.5 story Hotel building as described below as well as locking/unlocking certain buildings, answering calls for assistance as needed and maintaining logs. The individual in this position works with limited supervision, but will report to the Hotel Manager Schedules Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m Duties and Responsibilities Daily cleaning of restrooms, event spaces and small café area as per established schedule. Answer calls and respond appropriately utilizing the Facilities cell phone. Contacting managers for situations beyond their scope. Other jobs as needed. Requirements High school diploma and/or GED is preferred. Must pass a background check. Drivers License Proper use of personal protective equipment. Attention to detail, thoroughness and consistency in daily work. Adherence to company policies. Previous customer service experience preferred but not necessary. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, kneel and crouch, regularly lift and move 10 pounds and lift 30 pounds to waist.
