Description

This position conducts on-site inspections of residential properties and commercial properties to ensure that property owners and city residents are complying with applicable property maintenance local, state, and federal laws and housing, nuisance and unsafe structures codes. Participates in team efforts and educational meetings/workshops with neighborhood organizations, property owners, residents and businesses and other city employees to support and implement anti-blight strategies including maintenance of residential structures, rehabilitation of vacant structures, and demolition of abandoned structures.
