Construction Laborer/Apprentice Carpenter: Year-Round, Full-Time Work

Award-winning residential construction and high-end renovation contractor on Mercer Island has an immediate opening for a construction laborer/apprentice carpenter. Previous experience is a plus, but not necessary. Apprentices have the opportunity to receive on-the-job training, working with highly skilled, professional carpenters, craftsmen, and residential installers, as part of an award-winning construction company, in business since 1981. We are looking for a hardworking, full-time employee with outstanding attendance between 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Monday-Friday only. We do not work on weekends, so you can expect to always have Saturdays and Sundays off. We pay weekly, so you can expect up to 52 checks each year. This is NOT a seasonal position and, if hired, you can expect 40 hours per week of work, even over the winter months. Benefits and compensation after 60 days include fully paid health/dental/disability insurance, paid sick time, employer HSA contribution, and employer-subsidized tool allowance. After 1 year, there will be 1 week of paid vacation. After 3 years, you get 2 weeks of paid vacation, fully paid medical coverage for a dependent, and a profit-sharing retirement plan. After 5 years, the company provides fully medical coverage for your entire family.
