ASPHALT Paver / Laborer Benjamin Asphalt, Inc. is an asphalt paving company located in Carnation, WA. We provide service to residential and commercial businesses throughout the Puget Sound area, and beyond. Looking to hire a laborer with a strong work ethic and that is dependable. Experience desirable, but not necessary. Willing to train the right candidate! DOE range of pay is $22 up to $27 per hour with a 30 day review and bump in pay based on a favorable review / evaluation / dependability. Job Duties include (but not limited to): • Learning the asphalt paving craft • Shoveling, sweeping and raking hot asphalt materials • Maintaining a SAFE and clean work environment • Using the jackhammer and company saw to breakup asphalt • Using hand tamp and plate compactors • Learning all aspects of paving equipment Benefits: • Medical, dental and vision after 60 days (paid 100% for employee) • 401K after 1 year of service (with matching contribution) • Vacation, sick leave and (6) paid holiday's • Life Insurance and short-term disability (paid 100% for the employee) • Mid-year bonus (work safe environment) • Discretionary bonus program at the end of the year • Automatic 1 1/2 x wages for Saturday's, and double time for Sunday's • Automatic 1 1/2 x wages for night work Must be able to work as a team. Ability to work evenings, or weekends depending on customer demands. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Valid driver's license. Clean MVR. Class A CDL a plus
