Full-Time Maintenance Persons needed in Rockton, IL. Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm Starting pay is $15.50/hr, after 90 day training period $16/hr. Peterson Cleaning also offers a 90 day $200 sign on incentive. (Details explained in interview). Perform regular cleaning and minor maintenance duties, including but not limited to painting, garbage removal, floor scrubber, minor repairs, and other task as assigned. Education and Experience: No formal educational credential Short-term on-the-job training Knowledge: Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Work Context: Body Positioning • Requires standing • Requires repetitive movement • Requires bending or twisting • Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls • Requires walking and running Communication • Requires face-to-face discussions with individuals or teams • Requires contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise) Environment • Manufacturing type setting Personal Interaction • Requires work with others in a group or team • Requires coordinating or leading others in accomplishing work activities Work Attire • Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment • Requires safety glasses • Requires steel toe shoes Tasks: • Minor maintenance and repairs • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. • Gather and empty trash. • Learn to operate forklift and or scissor lift • Move furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or with hand trucks. • Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, or parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, or snow shovels, or spread snow-melting chemicals. • Make adjustments or minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, or electrical systems. • Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees. • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. • Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. • Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
