Studio BERNINA is searching for a part or full-time sewing machine repair technician. This position has room to grow for someone who is the right fit. We are looking to hire someone as soon as possible. If you have experience with small mechanics, bicycle repairs/maintenance, small appliance repairs, or clock repairs this could be a great position for you! A technical repair background is not required to apply for this position, but someone who is mechanically-minded and enjoys problem solving is encouraged to apply. Studio BERNINA is the oldest BERNINA sewing machine dealer on the Front Range. We are looking to bring on a team member to quickly be trained by our repair technician before he moves on to his next position with formal paid training at BERNINA of America in Chicago, IL to follow. Responsibilities of our technician include: · Training under our current repair technician to learn the basics of sewing machine repairs · A tiered learning program that advances you through technical training and advancing you in your position at Studio BERNINA · Has responsible customer service with time management skills · Comfortable speaking over the phone and to customers in the front of house · Learning the basics of the Point of Sale system to assist with store operations This position begins at $15/hr with room for growth in both hours and pay grade as you advance through our tiered learning program.
