Ground crew needed - no experience necessary Job Description: Must be able to be on site in Hammond, LA by 6:45am every morning. 12 hour days, 7 days a week - $200 per day Duties will include: stocking coolers Filling generators running errands placing and removing cones from around vehicles Placing and removing road work signs at set distances Flagging traffic as needed Providing assistance as needed to main work crew - getting tools, etc… Be attentive to traffic conditions and other safety issues Must haves for the ideal candidate: Current drivers license Own vehicle Be reliable and punctual Able to stand for several hours at a time when needed Able to climb up and down on trucks Able to lift and carry 25 pounds Able to walk and carry items at least a 1000 feet Able to run errands and use google maps to find locations Able to work outside in the heat all day Have a good attitude and work well with others Able to follow instructions Boots - steel toe preferred Safety Vest and hard hat if you have one Compensation is $200 per day. First pay will be on the 3rd Monday after the first Sunday you work. Gas reimbursed for driving from job to job during the day but not for commuting to the check in site each morning or home from the last site in the evening.
