MONDAY-FRIDAY 8:30 AM - 5 PM 336-697-5552 JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME $500 Sign On Bonus, $500 Referral PRIMARY FUNCTION: Perform a wide variety of duties, both physical and technical, for the preparation, forming, and placement of poured concrete walls. Will operate machinery (skid loader/forklift) and power tools. Will prepare jobsite by setting up rebar configuration/placement and forms. Will communicate between the jobsite, office, and inspectors through phone communication and field reports. Will estimate concrete yardage, read blueprint, and confirm dimensions. All local travel, no overnights. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Work Monday-Friday, sometimes Saturday when there is a rain day throughout the week, no nights Operate a variety of equipment/machinery including, transporting trailer for skid steer, air compressors, generators, rebar cutter, tie gun, and other various equipment for the preparation and installation of poured concrete walls. Lead the preparation of concrete walls including all, but not limited to, the following: rebar cutting, rebar placement/configuration, setting up aluminum forms, spraying form oil, concrete placement, and stripping forms. Perform necessary work with all company policies and procedures. Perform additional duties required or directed by supervisors. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Must be a minimum of 21 years old Working knowledge of concrete rebar, forms, and concrete Valid Drivers License Must have experience with the production of concrete footings and walls Leadership quality to lead crew members to efficiently stay on task Highly motivated Proficient in reading blueprints Basic Understanding of Math Familiar with concrete wall forming and placement CDL is a plus! Spanish is a plus! PHYSICAL DEMANDS Heavy physical effort required. This included pulling, lifting, and moving material over 80 lbs. Position requires the ability to continuously work around any or all the following: dust, heat, cold, noise, heavy equipment, and form oil.
