Description
Construction company needs general laborer capable of driving a 3/4 ton truck and trailer.
Responsibilities:
1) Picking up and delivering materials and machinery from our yard to site.
2) Cleaning and caring for our trucks, tools and equipment.
3) Assisting the ground crew with day to day operations.
Requirements:
1) Communicate and work well with others.
2) Conduct yourself in a professional and workmanlike manor.
3) Basic Math skills.
4) Reliable transportation to get to and from our equipment yard location.
5) Valid License and clean driving record.
General conditions:
Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
Requires work outside in all types of weather.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs of material.
Occasional travel out of town for up to 5 days at a time with one weeks’ notice in advance. We pay for meals, lodging and transportation.
Time and a half is paid for all hours over 40 per week.
Paid vacation after one year of work.
Helpful but not required:
1) Proficiency in operating a skid steer loader.
2) Proficiency in operating a Mini-Excavator.
3) Bilingual in English and Spanish.
