Singer/Songwriter Looking to Form/Join Acoustic Folk Rock Trio!

Hello, Sam here! I'm a singer/songwriter out of North Aurora, and current lead singer/songwriter of local funk/soul band MetroFern. As we head out of our prime summer gigging months and into the quiet of fall and winter, I’m looking to start/join a new project rooted in vocal harmony and folk rock, in the style of Crosby Stills and Nash, The Lumineers, Fleet foxes, etc. I’m looking to assemble either a duo, trio or quartet of vocalists, playing all acoustic instruments, be it guitar, upright bass, mandolin, banjo, percussion, etc., but I’m quite open minded in terms of form. I have a deep appreciation for harmony in the presence of sincere, intimate arrangements, something I am not afforded in the funk genre. My home in North Aurora is open as a rehearsal space with all the necessary instruments/equipment for rehearsing, though I am also willing to drive elsewhere for practice. I think developing a catalogue that evenly blends covers and original music would be ideal.
