Septic company looking for pump truck driver with a clean driving record. Work Monday--Friday (set your own schedule) We service Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Brevard Counties. Office is based out of Vero Beach. Specifically looking for a driver that either lives in the Palm Bay/Melbourne area and able to keep their truck at their house (and maybe even a few portable toilets) OR a driver willing to travel to the Palm Bay/Melbourne area to complete their assigned route. JOB DESCRIPTION: Family owned septic & portable toilet company seeking portable toilet truck driver. Pump Truck Drivers are responsible for servicing portable restrooms, holding tanks, hand wash stations, etc. on their assigned route and day. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Operate truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies. -Provide services to customers' portable restroom unit on assigned route(s) by pumping, washing, and restocking units. -Delivery and removal of portable restroom units to/from customers. -Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs. -Maintain and update drivers log sheets. -Professional interaction with internal and external customers. -Repair, clean, and prepare portable restroom units for delivery, as needed. -Maintain a clean truck. -Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: -Ability to read and understand a map. -Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing). -General knowledge of mechanics of trucks. -Ability to begin work at early hours -Ability to work in all weather conditions. -Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers. -Waste industry experience, a plus** -Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: -Legally eligible to work in the United States. -Must have clean driving record for past 5 years Please email resume.
