Seeking to hire Delivery Associates for Cicero IL. About Spears Delivery Service Inc. Spears Delivery Service Inc is a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) that is independently owned. We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic team players to deliver Amazon packages using our Amazon Branded Vans. You will be responsible for making small package deliveries to homes, apartments, and businesses. Why work for us? You will arrive on time to attend the morning meeting and receive your van assignment based on the weekly schedule Perform a Pre-trip vehicle inspection thoroughly checking the van for damage. Deliver up to 300+ packages on your route. (Smartphone/GPS device has the complete route pre-determined along with delivery estimates for each delivery) in exactly the manner that our client requires Possibly help another driver as directed Then head back to the station after refueling and removing all trash & debris from the van and return Smartphone/GPS scanner device and keys; debrief with manager Who should apply?? We are essential workers. This job is not easy, but it is rewarding • Applicants must be physically able to handle the walking, lifting, bending, and stooping required to perform this job. Ability to lift and carry 50lbs without assistance. Must be able to work at a quick and even pace. Delivering up to 300+ packages a day. Being on your feet up to 10 hours per day while walking 3-4 miles per day. Climb in and out of a van 100+ times a day. Must be a safe driver and observe all traffic rules and company safety policies. Must treat everyone with respect and vehicles like their own. Must be computer literate and able to operate a Smartphone/GPS device with scanner Requirements are • Must be at least 21 years old • Must have held state driver’s license for at least 4 years • Authorized to work in the United States • Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening • Must have a clean motor vehicle report.
