Description
Company Overview When you are scheduled, you are scheduled to contribute to the team and the company. In your case, you are a driver but you are also on the clock to do the other tasks we have to complete in the office. In other words, none of the drivers are sitting in their car or just waiting around for an order -- we are all expected to help out while we are here because we all have a common goal COMMON GOAL: To be the best delivery service in West LA and to build Xaler up into a recognizable brand. Come be a part of our growth! :) As a driver, you make extra because you go on routes to make tips and fees, and we have a lot of loyal patients that tip our drivers well. When you’re not taking routes, we expect you to be in the office contributing to whatever it is we have to complete for that day We take in 100s of product a week and are expected to prep them for sale; the prep is something everyone contributes to We are constantly making changes around the office since we switched locations only a year ago; helping organize, build, or put things where they belong are things everyone contributes to We are a fairly young company, we started in 2013, and we are a fairly young team as well. Everyone that works here is 21yo- early 30s. Position Requirements: - must have your own car - must have a phone - must have updated insurance, registration, and drivers license - must be able to use google sheets - must be willing to ask for help when needed or when you don’t know something - must be a team player and willing to work with others - must be an active worker - must be adaptable and teachable Position Details - to be explained in depth during training: - double check orders before taking them on your route - cross check patient IDs to credit cards - take routes - you are the face of the company, the patients see you as a representation of how we operate, so please treat driving as customer service (the better the driver you are the more likely patients will tip!) there will be downtime between routes -- unless you are on break, please report to the dispatch room to see how you can contribute for the day - 7.5 hour shifts - working for 7 hours with a 30 minute break
