MUSIC WORKS NORTHWEST JAZZ COMBO Jazz is over 100 years old! The repertory demands of the music rival that of the classical and romantic periods of music. From Swing to Be Bop, from Cool to Fusion, today's jazz musicians have many distinct styles to draw from. Dr. Ron Cole will guide students through "standard" jazz repertory and improvisation that is the basis for professional pop and jazz musicians on the scene today. This is an community based course for adults from 18 to 180. New students to the Jazz Combo must arrange to speak with the instructor. ​All woodwind, brass, or voice students who are in-person must be fully vaccinated at this time.
