Please apply via: Position Summary: The main objective of this position will be to ensure quality packaging of all High West Distillery’s premium spirits and to maintain a swift and efficient pace. The position follows standard operating procedures and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Please note that we are taking every precaution to keep our team and guests safe and healthy in regards to Covid-19. This position will be based in our Salt Lake City facility. Responsibilities: Under minimal supervision: Attends to the operation of assigned bottling equipment and tasks Rotates between all machine centers as necessary to cover for breaks and absences Maintains proper flow and efficiency of bottling equipment Safely and efficiently operate all pieces of equipment on bottling line to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost-effective manner Must be able to consistently perform all in-process and final production quality control and verification checks Ability to keep work area clean and organized Demonstrates situational awareness and a sense of urgency on the production floor Follows all safety procedures and guidelines. Identifies safety hazards and communicates to team members and leadership Demonstrates a positive attitude, ability to work with team members to achieve production goals Desire to continuously learn and improve Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Punctual and arrives to work on time Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications: strong mechanical skills Previous experience in manufacturing environment Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Works outdoors/indoors Works in warm/cold climates Works in high places Works on wet surfaces Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic Must be able to move up to 55 lbs Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required.
