I recently moved from northern NJ into Manhattan and I was unable to take my 2 cats with me due to unforeseen circumstances. The cats currently happily reside at my folks place, still in northern NJ, for the time being but with my parents entering their elder years, these 2 one year old cats don't have a long term future there. The 2 cats are a girl (Bonnie) and a boy (Clyde), they are a bonded pair - brother and sister from the same litter. I will not split them up so the eventual adopter would need to be able to take both. I have lots of cat toys, a 2 tiered cat tree, cat carrying case that can fit them both, an automatic litter box + litter, and food + food containers I will give along with the cats so they are a full package adoption. I don't require a fee from the adopter although a donation would be appreciated ($100 ea, $200 total, OBO) - I'm more focused on finding them a forever home than anything else. Bonnie is the dilute calico with white mittens, and Clyde is white and grey. Clyde is very talkative and docile, he'll warm up to new people the fastest and is very social and loves to be held. Bonnie takes some time to come around but she's very affectionate once she does; she does not like to be held as much. Both love good scratches, attention, and playing with their favorite string toys. They are trained not to go on tables and counters, and are fully litter box trained. Both cats will be skittish and shy at first in a new environment but will come around easily once food is introduced. Both cats are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, non-chipped and are declawed. They are indoor cats ONLY, the future adopter needs to be very cognizant of this. They are just over 1 year old (born Sept 9th) and could probably still be easily (slowly) introduced to other cats and maybe a dog, but a current no-pet household is preferred. For the right home, I am able to deliver them. Serious inquiries only.
