Description
Tina Hallis will present Positive Rebound: Navigating Change and Uncertainty which will help attendees adjust to a post-pandemic life How to Have a Positive Rebound into Post-Pandemic Life This past year has been filled with massive uncertainty and stress. Everything has been turned upside down, from our daily routines to our understanding of how to stay safe. How can we readjust to life post-pandemic? How can we begin to shift away from the fear of uncertainty towards a mindset that brings us more peace and happiness? A valuable component to this shift is understanding how our brains react to the unknown. When we can’t predict the future and have lost our sense of normalcy, it triggers a threat response as if someone were physically trying to harm us. No wonder our stress levels skyrocket! As if that wasn’t bad enough, our survival instinct tells us we should assume the worst possible outcome. Being aware of this normal response is the first step in adjusting our mindset. Now we can build our positivity skills with science-based strategies that make it easier to refocus; to begin the journey towards less stress and greater peace. As we practice, we begin to enjoy greater optimism, gratitude, resilience, and empathy.
