I found this person to be less than honest in her actions vs. statements. Mrs Debord does not accept well opinions that do not agree with hers even if they come from highly trained Licensed Professionals beyond her skill set.. If you want you're Child's best interests served second opinions will reflect alternatives. She presents her opinions of your child custody and bests interests that she is not trained, qualified or licensed to present and Kaiser ( the employer is either approving this or failing to hold her to only work within her licensed scope of therapist practice. Either way investing time with her may not serve your kids best s interests.The children found it impossible to feel safe about therapy when what was to be in confidence is disclosed even when no child abuse or neglect was present. Taking sides makes it impossible to work with her. Maui court records reflect that even if she states it is against Kaiser policy for her to be present there, the records reflect otherwise. In my opinion as a professional Mrs Debord does not respect the child,s privacy rather than help them work through their concerns and keep their information private. She is not open to second opinions from superior licensed and experienced professionals on her practice skill opinions of kid's best interest if they do not support hers. A clear statement that this is how she parented her children and you should follow her led even if it fails to match best practices for the matter at hand. I suggest you do a reference check and talk with other clients and Kids. Check the local court records and get second opinions from higher level licensed and trained professionals on her conclusions and opinions. This will be the best parenting practice for the best interest if kids are involved. Research her scope of practice to limit her opinions to her training.
