Come out and help us build the course components for FIRST LEGO League's challenge! This month we're gathering at Checkerspot Brewing to lend a hand to the FIRST LEGO League to assist in building components of their RePlay Challenge obstacle course! The components are various LEGO kits that will include all pieces needed to build the component, as well as an instruction manual. This year's theme is "sports, play, and fitness - moving, collaborating, competing, and celebrating." Event details:When: Saturday October 9, 2021 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM Where:  Checkerspot Brewing Company (Second Floor)               1399 S. Sharp St, Baltimore, MD 21230 Parking: Checkerspot has a lot volunteers can use. Afterparty: On-site at Checkerspot Brewing Company. Volunteers can purchase beer during the event as well as stick around afterwards for our typical afterparty. Please note the following additional details for this event before registering:As this event is indoors, volunteers MUST be able to show proof of vaccination in order to volunteer for this event. We will be socially distanced on the second floor of Checkerspot, and volunteers will be seated for the building activity. The city still has its indoor mask mandate so you will be asked to wear a mask inside and as you move around/away from your seat.This event will take place from 12pm-3pm due to the Baltimore Marathon taking place on the same date. Please use Google Maps to navigate to Checkerspot, as it should include any road closures/delays from the Marathon.We'll see you there!
