Come enjoy a rooftop fashion show and vote on the best Beautiful Garbage design! A brand new fashion event has been added to the Fashion Week Columbus official schedule, in partnership with Nurtur Salon (an Aveda concept)! Focusing on sustainability and zero waste, the Beautiful Garbage Fashion Show showcases the creativity of the designers using materials that may be considered trash. The hair & make-up team from Nurtur will create couture looks to compliment each Beautiful Garbage look. The audience will get to vote on the best design! “Caring for the planet is at the heart of our mission.” - Aveda Guests will enjoy light hors d'oeuvre and a cash bar while enjoying the fashion, fun, and one of the best views of the city! As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Fashion Week Columbus is a first-of-its-kind with a mission to produce a platform to showcase local and emerging fashion designers while also providing scholarships to fashion design students in Central Ohio.
