Join us for a FREE tasting of Domaine de Charron Bas-ARMAGNAC with Nick Taylor Join us on Thursday, September 30, from 6:30-8:30 PM at Norfolk Wine & Spirits, for a FREE Domaine de Charron Bas-Armagnac tasting with Nick Taylor, founder of Taylor & Taylor Whiskey. Domaine de Charron, imported exclusively by our friends at Taylor & Taylor Whiskey Co., is a tiny Single Estate Producer of Bas Armagnac. As a “single estate producer” every part of the process from growing the grapes, to distilling the spirit in their wood-fired stills, to aging the Armganac is done at the Domaine. And when we say tiny we mean fewer than 1000 bottles are made available in the United States each year. Located on the sandy soils of Bas Armagnac, the Domaine only produces the robust, low alcohol and high acidity Baco grapes that are perfect for producing an Armagnac aged exclusively in new oak. Charron has been consistently winning gold at renowned competitions including ISW, Meiningers International Spirits Award, Concours des Bas-Armagnacs Landais, Talents de l’Armagnac and others.
