A South Shore Fire Extinguisher and Suppression System Company serving all of New England is in search of a qualified/trainable shop/fire extinguisher and suppression technician for full time work. Experience preferred but not mandatory. If you have the experience or feel that you have the ability, enjoy working with your hands, and wish to work in a rewarding industry we are interested in hearing from you. Job duties include but are not limited to: Shop work - recharging extinguishers, maintaining inventory & receiving deliveries Service Calls Servicing portable fire extinguishers Kitchen suppression systems testing and inspection Exit light inspection and service Servicing 6 year inspections and portables for hydro testing We provide a company van as well as access to classes and testing to become Certified Portable Suppression Technicians. Must possess excellent customer service skills Must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record Must have a high school diploma Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and with others Pay based on experience/negotiable Job Type: Full-time
