Candidate will work in a metal fabrication shop that manufactures custom conveyor systems. Ideally a candidate with previous experience in the industry. Successful helpers will have the opportunity to expand and learn metal fabrication and welding skills. Duties include but not limited to:  Assists workers engaged in fabrication of sheet metal products.  Metal preparatory use grinders, saws, hydraulic presses, forklifts, sand blasters, solvent baths--------(This task is a large portion of the job and REQUIRES the ability to stand for long hours at a time while performing the same task)  Work will be mostly indoors, working outside is sometimes required.  Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from machines to assist in fitting and  welding.  Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process by hand or truck.  General painting  Building skids & crates for equipment shipping,  Handy Man Work (General cleaning and building maintenance/up-keep) Requirements: • High school education or equivalent experience. • Speak, understand, read and write English. • Good basic math skills, ability to read a tape measure • Reliable transportation Willing to work OT and Saturdays as needed. • Have steel toed shoes and you will be required to wear safety equipment while assisting in the shop or on job sites. • Must be dependable and prompt. • Must be willing to participate fully in intensive quality and safety programs • Detail Oriented: - Pay close attention to all the little details. - Ability to multi-task & stay organized - Manage time properly • Levelheaded: Hold your emotions in check, even in tough situations. Job Type: Full-time/Part Time Benefits include: Health & Dental insurance, profit-share, paid vacation, sick time & holiday pay for full time employees.
