New progressive metal band, The Supposed, are seeking members to complete lineup to play live shows with. We have an album completed and is set to release soon. Additionally, we are looking for people that are willing to be involved in future music writing and getting the band out there to tour. **NO HIRED GUNS** Influences are but not limited to: Tool, Deftones, System of a Down, Gojira, Meshuggah, Fear Factory, Between the Buried and Me, Periphery, The Contortionist and so on. We primarily play in Standard B on 7 string guitars and tune down the E string to Drop D for certain songs. What we are looking for is a rhythm guitarist and bassist and the requirements are: -Must be 21 and over -Must live in the NYC area -Must have gig experience -Must have your own gear -Must be able to learn by ear, no tabs for the songs Rhythm guitarist requirements: -Own a 7 string that’s able tune the low E to D( Drop D tuning) -Have steady and tight rhythm Bass guitar requirements: -Own a 5 string that’s able to tune the E string to D (Drop D Tuning) -Able to play leads and solos We are currently auditioning so please reach out if you’re interested!
