Irrigation Manager Company Profile A Leading Full-Service Landscape company in south Florida is expanding services and creating a new opportunity for an experienced “hands on” Irrigation Manager to manage and lead our irrigation division. JOB DESCRIPTION This is a key management position that requires a friendly, cooperative customer service attitude and sales focus. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Managing staff, budgets, and work orders of the Irrigation division. • The ability to teach, repair, maintain and troubleshoot various types of irrigation systems • Promoting the services of complementing departments. • Ability to design & install new irrigation systems. • Provide support and working, hands-on, with other technicians. • Attend meetings and effectively communicate with customers to sell and ensure the professional installation or repair of irrigation systems. This is a salaried position that offers additional compensation package linked to sales. Also included are multiple benefit options such as health, dental, life, STD & LTD, 401K, vacation, holiday pay, and a company vehicle. REQUIREMENTS • Management and positive leadership experience. • Positive and articulate communication skills. • Advance trouble-shooting knowledge of many types of irrigation systems. • State of Florida irrigation contractor’s license • Horticulture knowledge in soils, turf & lawn. • Basic computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, & MS Outlook) • Excellent customer service skills & professional demeanor • Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time.
