Here's a chance to win a $100 gift card! We will be launching beets out the upstairs windows for contestants to catch on KS Ave. Inspired by everyone's favorite beet lover and our An American Workplace pop-up bar, we will be holding our first Beet Toss competition! Contestants will be placed on the sidewalk in front of the Pennant where beets will be tossed out the beer garden windows on the 2nd floor. The winner of the Beet Toss will win a $100 gift card redeemable at The Pennant and featured on our social media platforms. The competition will be completed in one round where contestants have 60 seconds to catch up to 20 beets. The beets will be tossed from various windows upstairs at the Pennant for contestants to run and catch. Contestants will be given a basket to catch the beets in during their attempt. Beets that fall out of the basket (even while running) do not count. Final beet count will be completed by our scoring team to determine the winner. When contestants arrive, they will be required to sign a waiver agreeing to hold The Pennant harmless in case of injury related to participating in the Beet Toss. It is also highly recommended that contestants wear expendable clothing as beets do stain clothing. Contestants also consent to video and photos being taken of them by Pennant marketing staff that may be used in advertisements, social media, and other media. You must reserve your entry in the competition by acquiring a ticket here on EventBrite. We are limiting the contest to 16 entrants, so sign up quickly or you'll be left watching on the side!
