Hey my name is Alex and I'm a guitarist located in Oyster Bay, I'm in my mid 20's and I am looking to start a rock band, write and record original material, and perform live! I've been playing for 16 years and have professional recording experience, and pretty solid gigging experience to match. I just finished a solo hard rock album that I wrote, sang and performed all instruments besides drums (link down below to all streaming platforms) and am looking to start a new band On Long Island. I would sing back up vocals but just mainly prefer to play electric guitar, I love acoustic stuff too. I'm going for a blended old school Rock sound. I love all kinds of rock but it can't be done without a talented singer. I would like to take a casual and fun approach to being in a band, keep the travel reasonable. And play for fun, I would absolutely do covers, but also want to write. Rehearse once a week, and play a show maybe once or twice a month.
