HEY BATTER BATTER, SWING INTO THE VILLAGE SPORTS LEAGUE, AT THE SEASON OPENER PARTY! We are kicking off The Village intramural sports league with a season opener party! Make your October a home run and join us on the 7th from 6-9pm for food & drinks specials, photo opps, and chance to meet/make your team, before the season officially begins later in the month. There will be coed softball and kickball offered this season, and you don’t have to be a village resident to join. Sign-up will open up to the public on 10/1 so mark your calendars before it fills up! SEASON OPENER PARTY Ready to meet your competition for the season? The season opener party is the perfect time to meet other players, and finish finalizing your team. Head on over to the back patio of Roundhouse, The Village Dallas’ very own food-hall, to kick off the season as a winner. There will be a local featured DJ getting the party started, drink & food specials, giveaways, and more! The patio is dog friendly, so bring your furry friend and get ready for pre-season fun! THE VILLAGE The community neighborhood that has been around for years and is well known by many, the Village, offers 15+ neighborhoods all uniquely different and with a variety of price ranges. The Village recently underwent a multi-billion dollar renovation, which now features a new country club, resort-style pool, multi-story gym, boutique hotel, bars & restaurants, dog park & daycare and so much more! The Village truly has it all, and is one of the most community oriented places to live in Dallas. Their coffee shop, and some of their restaurants are open to the public, so it's definitely worth checking out as a non-resident too! SPORTS LEAGUE The Village sports league will officially begin in October, with softball games on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and kickball on Wednesdays. Both leagues are coed and at a recreational competition level for this season. There will be 6 weeks of games throughout the fall, with game times between 6:30-9:30pm. Players of the leagues will get to enjoy exclusive perks at the Village, with happy hour pricing at Over Under bar/roundhouse on game nights, exclusive drink specials, and a special party at the end of the season for the league winners...it will be epic! RSVP/REGISTRATION Please RSVP to the season opener party so we have an idea of how many champions to expect! If you RSVP for the event, we will send you a reminder on 10/1 when sign-up opens up to the public, for the sports league. The season opener party is free, and the cost to register for the sports league is $65 a season for Villager residents, and $75 for non-village residents. You will have the option to register as a team or individual.
