Whether you're a seasoned professional or just beginning your journey into planning, join us for the APA PA SE Chapter Mentoring Mixer! Wednesday, October 6th 5:30 - 8:00 pm Temple University Center City Campus 1515 Market St, Philadelphia, PA 19102 Getting There: https://centercity.temple.edu/about/getting-here Thank you for your interest in the APA Mentoring Mixer! As an APA member, you are invited to share your expertise and guidance with rising young professionals from Philadelphia's top planning programs. As a student, you won't want to miss this opportunity to learn from some of our region's most established planning practitioners. Please join us for an evening of networking (bring your business cards!), along with four sessions of small-group mentoring that allows APA members to share their stories while allowing students to ask questions about how to be successful in the field. Additionally, the APA PA SE Council will be presenting awards to the winners of their annual student competition. Attire is business casual to professional. To ensure the safety of this event, we will be taking special precautions. Masks will be required inside the building at all times (unless eating or drinking), hand sanitizer will be available, and food will be served boxed/contact-free. Additionally, attendance will be limited to the first 50 registrants. Please note: All attendees will be asked to provide a photo ID to gain access to the building for security purposes. REGISTRATION CLOSES WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH @ 11:59 PM. The Southeast Section represents members from the following counties: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia. We are one of several sections that represent the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association. PA Chapter of the APA SE Professional Development Institute: The Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association, Southeast Section launched its Professional Development Institute (APA PA SE PDI) on February 22, 2008. The program is open to all professionals in the design, planning and development fields, and provides urban planners opportunities to gain credits towards their certification maintenance.
