Dust off your boots - and your best work from the past 24 months - the 2021 Worthy Awards call for entries is now open! After a year like no other – all things COVID-19, a state-wide ice storm, days and weeks without power and more – it is time to celebrate and recognize the best of the best in public relations campaigns and tactics in Fort Worth, Where the Best Begins. WANTED! Award entries for the 2021 Worthy Awards TIME PERIOD FOR AWARD CONSIDERATION We know you have done trailblazing work since the summer of 2019, and you will have a chance to submit projects and tactics from a two-year time period (July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2021). PROGRAM CATEGORIES & TACTICS Information and details on all of the award categories can be found here at WorthyAwards.com. In addition, in light of the ongoing pandemic, we have added a new category for COVID-19-related projects. Nominations are also being accepted for: Communicator of the Year: Awarded annually to one community member who has demonstrated leadership and communications ability while involved with an issue or event of significance to the greater Fort Worth region.Dr. Douglas Ann Newsom, APR, Fellow PRSA Professional of the Year Award: To recognize public relations professionals in the Greater Fort Worth area who have attained significant achievements and made outstanding contributions to the profession.DEADLINE DATES FOR AWARD SUBMISSION Early Bird entries are due Friday, August 27, 2021 by 5 p.m. ($80)The extended deadline to submit entries is Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 by 5 p.m. ($100) There will NOT be a third party award entry platform this year and you will pay for entry fees, event tickets and sponsorships through this Eventbrite link.
