I am a licensed general contractor performing a full home and property renovation. I need three oak trees removed from one yard. This job needs to be performed by a legitimate business and it needs to be covered by legally mandated insurance. These are the options I can give. ----------------------- You may do this job as a subcontractor under the following conditions: 1. Liability insurance naming my company as additional insured. Insurance must absorb liability for every person working under your control or individual policies must exist for each independent contractor working the job. 2. Worker's comp insurance or worker's comp exemtion for each and every person you have working this job. You provide your own equipment and disposal. The job will pay $3000. ---------------------------- Without the foregoing insurance, I will hire you as temporary employees, paying $18 to the leader and $16 hourly to each other worker. The job will pay a maximum of $2000 for fully completed job. You will be covered under my liability and worker's comp insurance. Job required to be complete within 2 weeks of start date.
