He is currently working on his PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical engineering at Texas A&M. TJ has founded and co-founded multiple health businesses, designed to help make healthcare more affordable and accessible. To attest to how successful he has been, he recently was able to secure a $2.3M grant that will help with the creation of a digital tool designed to help reduce the burden caregivers face. TJ is very familiar with the McFerrin Center and has participated in numerous programs, including the 2020 Raymond Ideas Challenge, where he placed 2nd!
