Description

1-mile running race on a cross-country, compacted composite course alternating to dirt, sand, gravel, cement, and asphalt. Runners with fastest recorded times win in each age group. The course will be laid out with arrows and flagging. Each runner starts alone, with 2-minute intervals between runners. Runners start and finish close to the same line (running a loop). WHY?
