RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operating directional bore equipment for underground utility construction • Operating trenchers, plows, and excavator • Conduit installation and pulling cable • Work in the field to complete work such as site preparation, restoration and maintenance • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment Other Duties as Assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Must possess a valid driver’s license • Experience as a horizontal directional driller • Ditch Witch experience preferred • Previous experience and knowledge of underground utility installations • Ability to read and interpret OSP maps and designs and follow job specifications and orders • Ability to work under minimal supervision, within broad guidelines of procedures and goals • Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism • Must be dependable; trustworthy; and possess a positive and productive attitude • Willing and able to work a flexible field and shop schedule that includes extended hours • Willing to undergo a thorough background and drug screening Pay: Hourly + bonus (Rates are based on performance) Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: Multiple locations within 50 miles of Houston - NO OVER NIGHT STAYS REQ.
