Beginners Mosaic Class In this class, new students may make a variety of projects such as a 20" table top, mailbox, bowling ball, terra cotta or aluminum pot, street sign, stepping stone or bird bath. The class price includes supplies and class session plus ongoing support through videos and free grouting classes throughout the year. She was in awe of how the construction crew used the remaining broken tiles to create a walk way at her new home. She had discovered that it cost these tile stores 4 cents a pound to discard excess tile. As a result, she made a habit of calling local tile stores and picking up their excess tile. In the midst of crisis and transition, she began to mosaic every inch of an old house she had acquired as a flip. She tiled kitchen counters, backsplashes, bathroom sink backsplashes, shower stalls, etc. She felt she was taking the broken shattered pieces of her life and putting those pieces back together again to create beautiful works of art.
