We're gonna do it again! Our first Monday Night blues jam was so much fun and we had quite a few musicians and singers! Great vibes and good times. This jam is open to all levels of musicians. We are here to foster an inclusive and safe environment for Chicago Blues. There is no judgement here. I was once a young musician trying to get on a blues scene that was very clickish and judgemental. This is for everyone. I am Mike from Big Mike & The R&B Kings. I've played and have had success in New Orleans for years and knowing a lot of the musicians here in Chicago has made it easier for me to access amazing musicians and to get something like this going for everyone! So please remember that. Don't be shy. Maybe even come by and scope it out and introduce yourself to me and we can set something up for you next week. We have a Keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums. Bring your axe if you feel more comfortable. Harp players, singers, dancers, and listeners please come on by. Its a free event in a local northside Chicago Neighborhood.
