The purpose of this event is to provide a safe space to discuss restoring justice and power to Mississippi families impacted by the criminal The Mississippi Prison Reform Coalition is inviting you to the Chances Brunch for people that have experienced the criminal legal system, on Sunday, September 26th, 1PM at Brookwood Country Club, 5001 Forest Hill Rd, in Jackson, Mississippi. The purpose of this event is to provide a safe space to discuss restoring justice and power to Mississippi families impacted by the criminal legal system. For years, we’ve been working to improve prison conditions, reduce incarceration rates and improve re-entry services. We want to continue this work by making sure that people most impacted by these issues are leading this work, defining the issues and directing the solutions. We will also provide lodging to families travelling over 40 miles outside of the metro Jackson area. Please let us know if lodging is needed, as well as, support for travel.
